Three things it does
that a brochure site cannot

1. Loads itself

Nightly for the catalogue, quarter-hourly for stock.

New lines appear, discontinued lines drop to draft, and prices follow your Amrod account. Nobody types a product code again.

2. Takes the whole order

Colours down the side, sizes across the top.

A buyer wanting 40 navy and 60 white across five sizes fills in one grid and sends one request. Stock shows in every box as they type.

3. Holds your margin

Markup set by brand and by category.

Clothing can run at one percentage and giftware at another. Volume breaks reduce the markup down to a floor you set, and never below it.

The quote arrives ready to order.

When a buyer sends a request, the server works out every price again from your own cost and your own markup rules. Whatever the browser was showing is discarded, so a manipulated page cannot change a figure. You receive the request with Amrod product codes against each quantity, in the order you would type them.

Questions we are asked first

Do I need my own Amrod account?
Yes. The site reads your account, so it shows your cost prices and your tier. We cannot supply the account, and Amrod only registers approved resellers.
Does Amrod see my markup?
No. The markup rules live on your own site and the calculation happens there. Your cost prices are stripped out of the stored quote so they never leave your server.
Can I change prices myself?
There is a pricing screen in the admin. Set a default markup, add rules for a brand or a category, edit the volume breaks and the floor. Saving recalculates quotes at once.
Who owns the site?
You do. The domain is registered in your name, the content is yours, and the customer data is yours to export whenever you ask.
How long does it take?
Send your logo, company details and Amrod API credentials and the build runs from there. We give you a date when we have your details, not before.
Can customers pay on the site?
Branded work goes out as a quote, because branding is priced per position and per quantity band. Unbranded stock can be bought outright through a normal cart if you want that switched on.
